Quick answer
We Were Here Tomorrow is not a separate “Tomorrow” series. It is the newest standalone co-op puzzle adventure in the We Were Here series, developed and published by Total Mayhem Games.

How it fits the series
The official Steam page describes every We Were Here title as a standalone online co-op adventure. The stories are connected, but you do not need to play earlier games before starting We Were Here Tomorrow. Steam lists the game under the We Were Here Series franchise.
Story and setting
According to the Steam page, an expedition to save fellow Explorers goes wrong. The two players become trapped beneath Antarctic ice and wake up inside a Norček Industries facility. Director Kathleen Bowe says her team disappeared while on the verge of a breakthrough, and a global crisis is approaching.
The setup is described as an imagined 1980s future with a retro-futuristic Norček facility and synthwave soundtrack.
The gameplay reveal trailer adds another story hook: an experimental reactor and rifts that cut through time itself. The trailer narrator suggests stabilizing a rift could send the players back to their own time.

Gameplay and co-op
We Were Here Tomorrow is co-op only. The Steam page says both players need a working PC-compatible microphone and an internet connection.
Players are often separated and rely on walkie-talkies. Each player has a different role and a unique high-tech tool. The puzzles are asymmetrical, so you must describe what you see and combine your perspectives with your partner.
In the release date reveal trailer, creative director Mark ten says each player gets a brand-new ability that can be upgraded during the game.
Platforms and cross-play
As of 2026-10-14, the Total Mayhem Games page links to Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox and does not link to a Nintendo Switch page.
The release date reveal trailer says We Were Here Tomorrow will be available October 20 with cross-play between Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation.
The Steam page also lists Online Co-op, Cross-Platform Multiplayer, Steam Achievements, and Family Sharing.
Release date and requirements
The Steam page lists a planned release date of October 20, 2026.
PC requirements from the Steam page:
- Minimum: Windows 11, Ryzen 5 3600 or equivalent, 8 GB RAM, Nvidia GTX 1660 Ti 6 GB or equivalent, DirectX 12, 25 GB storage
