Co-op answer: We Were Here Tomorrow is a two-player, online co-op game. The official Steam page describes it as co-op only and says both players need a working PC-compatible microphone and an internet connection.

How co-op works

Two Explorers wake up inside a Norček Industries facility beneath Antarctica. The co-op design is asymmetric: each player has a different role and their own high-tech tool, often gets separated, and must use walkie-talkies to describe what they see and share discoveries.

The Steam page highlights these points:

• Two players only, with two distinct roles.
• Online Co-op is a listed Steam feature.
• Puzzles challenge time, gravity, and space.
• Each game in the We Were Here series is a standalone online co-op adventure, so story order is not required.

PC co-op setup

Both players need to be online and able to talk. The Steam page lists a working PC-compatible microphone and broadband internet as requirements.
